My NYC Moment - I was on a Billboard in Time Square

Can you believe it? I was on a billboard in TIME SQUARE New York City?!? I know, I can’t either!!

Let me tell you the story of how this even happened because even I am still in shock. haha

Okay so as you may know, I am a Fuller Bust Influencer, Model and Educator. Meaning, I am your resource for anything you need to know, if you have a bra size DD and up (and yes, L, M, N, O and P cups are real and NORMAL). Anyways.. over the past two years I have been growing my social presents and changing the lives of women globally by shining light on real brands that actually cater to the fuller bust community.

And then last year, July 2022, something amazing happened…

While I was in New York, I was able to finally meet two girls I have been friends with on Instagram for a long time. Madison Alexandra, an icon in the fuller bust influencer community, and Alice Kim, a fuller bust fashionista on a mission to change the fashion industry with her clothing brand, PerfectDD. A brand made for women like myself, Alice and Madison, women with an extra small frame but extra large chest.

As you can imagine, we bonded instantly over our love-hate relationship with our boobs and the lingerie/fashion industry. To this day, they are my besties and two people I would do anything for.

That same week, Alice asked Madison and I to do a shoot for PerfectDD… A DREAM COME TRUE!

Not only did I have the absolute BEST experience for my first time in NYC, but also made life long friends and relationships that have only brought more amazing things into my life.

Such as…..

August 2022, one month later, I get a call…

“YOU’RE GOING TO BE ON A BILLBOARD IN TIME SQUARE” - Alice Kim

HOLY F** SHIT!!!! …. I was at the airport about to board my flight when I got the news and I swear I screamed so loud with excitement, people probably thought I was dying haha

Luckily Alice was able to request the Billboards to be played from noon until noon the next day so Madison could see it in person as well since she was only able to make it to NYC the following day.

It was the craziest and most surreal couple of days of my life.

Alice had asked Madison and I to speak at the launch event, to share our story and to share our thoughts on the brand. It also gave us the space to speak on the struggles of having large breasts and provide solutions to those who are still struggling.

Oh yeah, and did I mention our faces were ALL OVER the Samsung building on screens EVERYWHERE?!?

It was SURREAL and such an honour to be on stage with such incredible role models in this space. I am forever grateful for this opportunity.

I got invited by a store in Calgary, Alberta called Bratopia , as their Influencer to go with them to New York for a body positive lingerie trade show, Curve.

Basically, it means that all of the major brands that’s I have worked with / have been wanting to work with were going to be there showing buyers from stores around the world, their new collections for the upcoming years.

My answer was immediately YES haha as you would. I didn’t care what the cost, I was going.

This was my moment. This was my time to show the world who I was and what I stand for. I was so excited!!

PerfectDD was about to drop swimwear and a SPORTS BRA (available now) and we were the models for the launch.

I quite honestly was living out my literal dream at this point haha.

Little did I know that Alice had submitted our photos from the shoot to be on not just one, but THREE billboards in Time Square and she was calling to get my approval to use the images. Like DUH!!

Nothing was official but I was pretty much on stand by until I knew for sure it was going to be me up there before I bought tickets to go.

…..

September 20th, 2022 - Call from Alice.

“It’s happening girl, the billboards will run for 24 hours only, starting September 22nd”

LOL I basically got off the call at 7pm, booked my flights for 9am the next day, got there, spent the night with Alice, got up and spent just about the WHOLE day at Time Square getting photos and videos of us up on the billboard. It was INSANE!
